The iPhone 6 Plus is a smartphone developed and designed by Apple Inc. It was first released in September 2014, along with the iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 Plus is considered as a larger version of the iPhone 6 and is considered as a “phablet” device due to its large display.

The iPhone 6 Plus features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It was powered by Apple A8 chip, which was a 64-bit 1.4GHz dual-core ARMv8-A processor and PowerVR GX6450 GPU, with 1GB of RAM. It came with either 16GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage and it did not have a microSD card slot. The iPhone 6 Plus featured an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It also had a built-in accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. It also included a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, and it was the first iPhone to support optical image stabilization for the rear-facing camera.

The iPhone 6 Plus ran on the iOS 8 operating system at launch and was upgradable to iOS 12. It was available in Silver, Gold, and Space Gray color options.
